The Club is now Open

Welcome once more to our evening of tailcocks, nibbles and conviviality.

The weather is closing in but the fires have been banked up and all is cosy here in the clubhouse.

Unfortunately I have managed to contract yet another so-called 'virus' so will probably leave early to go to bed with Wodehouse and whisky...didn't work too well last time, but I'll give the old cove another chance.

Raffle prizes so far are:

A snow shovel (handle broken)

Earmuffs (fluffy mauve)

Hand knitted socks...one blue, one green

Thank you Lynn, I do hope she recovers quickly, I see the butler is back and hope he is up to speed with my fake fur
I am sure he has hidden it well, he is not built for speed and will be quiet as is soon kick off time.
Ahem.

Miss sibton - please be assured that your coat has indeed been hidden with a degree of cunning that has surprised even myself. A large Twinkle, Miss...
How gentlemanly of you Mr. Vogel. The battering ram was perhaps a tad over the top. Did you not notice the postern gate? Such a delicate shade of blue.
I will have tobid you good people a fond farewell, a few too many twinkles, not mixing well with new meds!
Night petal. Sweet dreams.
Your coat, Miss petal - good night, safe journey & be well :-)
Just pondering here - His Royal Felineness hides all coats, cloaks, jackets broom sticks every week, yes? My question is, does he remember where they are all hidden, or are they in the "place" where all those socks from the washing machine go? Please I intend no insult to his Majestic Felineness, as I explained earlier I am merely trying to keep my mind occupied - the cat is currently lying on the remote so I can't check on the football in Madrid so I have to find other means of distraction - another pail of Rinky Tinky please, and a morsel of that delish raised pie would be lovely
Ooh to have a reply from Lie-in- king, this has made my night, I can go to bed now and dream of this gorgeous man
Then tomorrow I will be waiting for all his answers on our crosswords
