Brexit Benefits
What with the war in Ukraine, Brexit has not figured much in the news recently; knowing that Boris Johnson follows my posts on this site, mentioning blue passports and the Crown Mark on pub glasses – I’d like to add ‘killing our honey-bees using EU-banned neonicotinoid pesticides’.
So when Boris announces this additional Brexit benefit – you’ll know he read it here first.
In no particular order – the main Brexit benefits to date are:-
- Blue passports
- The Crown Mark on pub glasses (†)
- Mobile phone companies able to make roaming charges (when using your phone in mainland Europe)
- Killing our honey-bees with EU banned pesticides
† Buenchico has claimed that it would be perfectly legal for the UK to have placed the Crown Mark on pub glasses while members of the EU. You have to ask yourself, do you believe Boris Johnson (who has been sacked from his job three times for lying – so far), or Buenchico?

Throughout the long and tortuous Brexit debate (which should have been put to bed on 24th June 2016) I explained that I cared not one jot what the advantages of EU membership were, or what the disadvantages of leaving might be. The material advantages or downsides were of no concern to me. Are you saying I should now change my mind because of the events you describe?
Judge, the Vichy British cannot comprehend the reasons why brexit won, they know the price of everything and the value of nothing. They spout forth financial trinkets as "proof" they were right and we were wrong whilst never understanding that it was never about that. If they'd spent some time before the referendum telling as the good things about the EUSSR rather than trying to frighten us with things that we are not frightened by, the result may have been different. You lost hymie, stop whining, we ain't ever going back.
Have they all had covid vaccinations yet in the EUSSR, or are they still arguing about who gets them first? Meanwhile Spain has not implemented any of the 19, yep 19, anti-corruption measures that Brussels "recommends" but has told their supermarkets that they can begin rationing after months of empty shelves. I am sure you all saw it on the "news" every evening at 6pm, with harrowing interviews from concerned citizens. I wonder why the corruption in Spain wasn't an issue when we were shovelling £Billions a week into the ponzi scheme. Germany meanwhile, despite being possibly the worst affected Country on Earth by the fuel crisis(after years of sucking up to Putin and his gangster state) is shutting power stations as fast as they can, whilst inflation there is at its highest since the 1990s. Get fracking Boris, we don't need their permission any longer. The "National" elections that are due in some EUSSR countries are showing a likelihood of huge swings to Conservative or populist candidates. Mobs attacking the police in France, and burning down buildings in protest, after complaining of being harassed and targeted in a "racial" victimisation campaign. Italy and Greece on the verge of economic collapse yet again, but without the UK to once again put a shoulder to the wheels of progress and to carry a burden. Sweden and Holland looking to the UK with envious interest and wondering whether they should get out of the failing wannabe superstate. Ohh I miss it so much. Stop laughing at the back, this is serious you know.
