Exceptions may be made in the case of animals that fit into pockets or handbags (like Alfie) but the committee cannot continue arranging for the large amounts to be cleared up. If you wish to bring your animal along, please submit its dimensions in triplicate to the relevant subcommittee. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I took a call from the Chief Fire Officier and he said he would be grateful if we could take the phone away from you know who or at least until we return some of his firemen as the resources are stretched and he's had to recruit an extra 200 fire men.

Maybe we should send a few back and then replace them with a few of the new boys...
