Goofy thats exactly what I was thinking, as Q2 was easy, I was wondering if I the remainder were going to be as tough as Q1, in which case I would not bother to go on.
sometimes (although not necessarily in this one) the answers to one clue can only be got from the answer to another.
What I've found doing these rainbow puzzles is that if I leave it for a couple of weeks, when I go through the clues again I suddenly get a few answes. Obviously the grey matter is puzzling away in teh background!
I've only got about 40 in total - but I'm still using the lurgy as an excuse. i think I'll have to theink of another one next week!
As long as you are enjoying it - that's the piont after all.
Hi, enjoying this quiz but I've come to a bit of a standstill and need some nudges in the right direction. Question 32. Tin ore is put back inside the crate(5). Can anyone tell me if the word for tin ore is involved in the answer? Happy to give some pointers to fellow quizzers if they're stuck like me.
Thanks gen-2. That stops me going down a blind alleyway. Now for Question 60. Nasty badman- so alien his whereabouts are unknown.Ive been trying to solve an anagram. Am I on the right track?

Thanks Esmeralda. I'd got the answer by working backwards from a word for crate but appreciate the clue just the same. Thanks Teacher 1 too for your reply to my query on 60 I'm still bamboozled by it but am hoping for a eureka moment.
Got it,Goofy, with your help. It seems so obvious once you have the answer! Have you got 81 yet? I haven't got it either but I'm not at the 'tearing my hair out' stage with it yet..
