Firstly, the anagram will give you the writer, then you want the book.

haven't tried that one before, but have added to my favourites.
I've been using Grandma Alice, and Universal Aangram Solver. They get most - mostly!

I've battled on alone, not wanting to ask for help too early since I got shot down in flames for it last quiz. Now I need some help I think. Can see Teacher 1 and Goofy are still around, thank goodness for a friendly face! Very stuck on 13 and 73, 41 and 56, have some ideas for some others, can't be greedy and ask for too much help at once. Still, I have done about 84 so will gladly help others if I can.

Teacher 1....56 Think the money is rhesus in the house of representatives but can't work out any more than that! So no help at all!!

41 is an anagram around an abbreviation

56 is not any specific monkey. The answer not a common word - I had to look it up

73 is a straight-forward cryptic construction but once again gives a word I had never heard of so had to look it up (in Chambers).

Hi,Mtsgirl. No the answer is not something to do with a horse. The answer means 'impedes progress' if that is any help. I'm stuck on the other three you asked about as well and so I'll work on the clues Gen2 gave you. I'm about the same stage as you with the quiz. I've racked my brain over 29. Can anyone give me a pointer in the right direction?

re 29. Think of an obvious term to describe policemen (the second word) then look it up in Chambers and I think in the last definition, you'll find what you're after.
