The Club is now Open.

After the excitements of last week, let us hope for a calmer evening tonight.

The moat has been cleared of tennis balls, the drainpipes have had barbed wire put round and extra locks have been installed. It is to be hoped that these precautions will be sufficient.

The Committee have decided to re-instate the raffle in place of the non-raffle, so any prizes would be appreciated. No more knitted biscuits, please. We're still unravelling the dog .

Any new members wishing to join will receive a warm.

Awww....takes you back.
Remembering those times under the arches eh?
Question Author
No

No
WHo told you about that ????
Lordalex promised he would never ....
Ooh...I'm declining again. Declining, declining.....
Oh goodbye petal, was it Kirk Douglas that played the Viking? That chin of his, talk about chiseled. and Tony Curtis was beautiful then don't you think.

It's very warm I would like cold drink and I'll have one of your vodka buns if I may.♫♫Any umberellas any umberellas♫♫ Lovely song they don't make them like that any more.
Question Author
How can you sing when I'm declining again.......
No they don't gran, I don't count that ella, ella, ella one. It sounds like the needle has stuck!!
Good evening all and salutations to the great and the good ( if any here tonight!) Is ladyalex turning into a Latin noun? She seems to decline very easily. I have two Panini World Cup swops of Rio Ferdinand for the raffle - don't know why they're muddy as I believe he never got on the pitch!
Good evening all, I never indulged under the arches, it was back of the bins for me, it was dirtier, oops, did I say that, Prudentia xxx
Question Author
Hello, flicrat and Prudentia. So nice to see you both.

After all that declining, I may conjugate soon.....
I haven't conjugated for ages................
Lady Alex
you are talking our language now, marjorie and I would like to be there!
Hello Prudentia and Flicrat.

Milady I believe I did conjugate once upon a time, there's proof somewhere out there.
But I never went in foe subjugation left that to the more agile.
Please stop harping on the "jug" words and pass the real jug round.
Question Author
Harping on....do we have a harpist here ?

Give us a tune....
Question Author
Whispers to Mamya...I've never subjugated either.....too timid, me.
I think I might have tried the subjunctive once, but it was a long time ago when the world was young and toilet paper was shiny.
It's only 5 to nine and marjorie is a shade harpist already.
No prudentia, that's Harpic, you have been deflected by the talk of the shiny toilet paper.
A string quartet would be good but am wary of a thong (at twilight or any other time)
I hastily add a child's push- the- hands- round clock for the raffle to help prudentia tell the difference between five to nine and five to ten - so we must make sure Prudentia wins it!
Has anyone checked the animals? I have heard rustling and have heard there are rustlers about.
