Abbey, no one can tell you what to do.  So many have given you advice.  The decision now has to be yours.

I thought the last day for giving in your notice at Selco was yesterday 6th ?

Toss a coin then. Whether you stay or take it you'll probably be unhappy within a few weeks. Just decide quickly if you're going to renege on the accepted offer.

Abbey, although the original thread is closed, you are still able to read all the replies - and LOTS of advice on it. Maybe that'll help you make up your mind?

YOU should write a pro and con list to help YOU with YOUR decision.

If you've got more pros than cons, then you have your answer. And vice versa.

If it's a dead heat, go for the new job, think of all that lovely money you'll have, especially for a holiday.

The pros as I see it are that it's a full time job without high levels of responsibility and paying  a full time wage.  The cons as I see them are that you don't want to leave Selco, you don't really want to do the new job and therefore you're likely to leave within a very short time - leaving you unemployed again.

If they are the pros and cons it's a no-brainier.  Forget the new job and stay at Selco on 10 hours a week.

Please! The last thread re this was stopped as it was goung round in circles.  Do we need any more of this indecisive drivel?

People I have spoken to a friend a colleuge have said to take as it more hours and all coded items then negative it's high pressured and likely to be manic and if I get to stressed and pressured at risk if another seizure.

Take heart, madgeorge.  The time has come to give notice to Selco - or not.

Question Author

I won't be unemployed as ill wait until I found something else.

Yes I know.....or maybe I don't.

I am not alone !

Question Author

I'm off on 22nd anyway and my colleuge has advised have a think over the weekend

All jobs carry an element of pressure.  You'll never work at all if that's what stops you.  I honestly think the bottom line is that you don't want the new job because you want to stay at  Selco.

Abbey, no one here can tell you what to do.

Question Author

It's not that I just don't know if I want shop work.

A think in general or just a think about deciding, or even thinking about asking people to decide.

If you don't want it call them and tell them.  If you don't want shopwork don't apply for any more jobs in shops.

Question Author

I don't mind abit if pressure but every job is different like for example, call centre, estate agent that would be to much as wouldn't be able to do it and with big shops I just use to get stressed and upset when I worked in them.

Question Author

Na I wouldn't have but because it's a new shop I can't ask anyone or see reviews about it.
