Lavender Oil

Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Just eaten lentils, pots, onions, salami and the pork from yesterday's lunch, very nice it was too. Mr N has come home with 2 roscon cakes (Kings cakes) cos although it was Saturday they are vastly reduced today (2 for 3€) but without the cream :-(, I have chomped through 2 chunks of cake but no kings or beans yet! We'll be eating this until kingdom come!

I had an M and S filled yorkshire pudding, beef and gravy topped with sliced potato. I have just eaten the last of my giant chocolate raisins. No more now till december as waitrose only have them at christmas.

Russian Christmas today! We have not celebrated it at all. In fact I totally forgot. During the early years of our marriage we used to celebrate it at the in laws, although Easter is the most important time for Orthodox Russians. So, no vodka or blinis, etc. We had fish cakes for dinner with spinach and baked tomato - traditional Russian grub!!! ;o)

Oh oight oight. Mr LL is watching Mrs Brown. I have gone off it since the terrible Christmas editions. I like Miranda Hart, but don't like her show. She seems to be a lovely person and was wonderful in The Midwife and I do love her clumsiness. So why don't I like the show, I wonder?

Morning all...I'm just russian in and russian out (sorry!), I've gotta nip out and it's going to rain later, so they say.
Miranda's show makes me laugh, I've always had a sense of the ridiculous...growing up as I did it was a necessity.
"I've got syphilis"..............."physalis!"....hahaha

Afternoon each. Just been to Ibiza with Mr N to se when we can go on theBarca trip, they will get back to us. Also looked at new armchairs btu i want to change the whole room Mr N says too much trouble to move tv etc, and it's not!!!

very strange, i feel totally wiped out today, like the cold is back but no sore throat or runny nose, just hot and cold and headachey and so tired. Dogs are being very good.

Hello all
Thank you all soooo much for the Birthday greetings .Very kind of you .
I love the knitted cake and yes cheers ,amongst my pressies a bottle of my favourite Jamesons .Mr S has told me to eke it out until next year:)
Had some nice things .DVD's ,a lovely dressing gown ,earrings ,books,perfume and a lovely trinket box with a needlepoint dog embroidered in the lid by my very clever old schoolfriend who must have the patience of a saint to do all that stitching .
So I'm a happy Shaney.
