Nipped into Asda earlier for milk. Came home with parsnips 10p, carrots 10p, turnip 10p and raspberries 15p. Don't you love a bargain?

Lucky you - no Morrisons near me unfortunately. But wherever I go I've got an eagle eye for the yellow stickers.
Sorry you said Asda !
Sounds a good milkshake.
The only thing I miss about not going to the Supermarket is a good mooch round the reductions.
Yes I agree M L - I often buy and enjoy things I wouldn't have tried otherwise.
Lately I've developed a strategy of going into the 3 supermarkets in town when I know the reductions are done. I always look for meat and fish...as long as there's room in the freezer...and I make sure there is. ;)
I had organic lamb chops tonight...reduced of course.
Well done Maggie, yes I do enjoy a good bargain.
Well done Maggie. My type of shopping. Always start where stuff has been reduced.
