I'm probably being a really dumb biddy but I don't do much on-line shopping!
Next are offering free delivery but where do you put the code? As you 'add to bag' it makes out your order but I don't see a space for special codes and the total adds on the delivery charge.
Hope this makes sense, I'm losing the plot today. Thanks.

What a fantastic Vid of the Swan Robi.
I've just called in to say I'm off to bed. I'm aching and coughing sneezing and snuffling so it looks like I have a bit of a virus. Can't be flu had me jab.
Neti pease say hello to Dolly for me too. Thinking about her.
Take care everybiddy
Bye for now. x
Morning al, "not available in my area" either. What's a sticky!
Ah at last I see tghe owl, couldn't see it here as it kept stopping but Ed's one was fine. What a clever bird. I, like you swedie, wondered why they would be scared of the Evil one. Thank you for that.
Good morning all, pouring wet day here. I have heard things are worse in Brisbane, hope Dolly is okay, I sent her a message yesterday but I guess her internet may be down.
She posted on FB yesterday, but seems bad there today, how really frightening !

Morning all...well it's wet & dark here but nothing at all like those poor people in Australia...where on earth are that many people going to go? I know Oz is a very big place but the whole situation is the very worst of nightmares.
I really shouldn't go into B&S/H&F first thing in a morning, not sure how much of the nauseating sleaze I can take.

Yes Jude the swan is funny, I love that programme....such a shame you can't see it Kit. Hope your cold doesn't come to anything.
<<< stamps foot in fit of peak >>> I can't see the swan either!

but it's warm and sunny and springlike here <<< smirks and disappears >>>
golly i wouldn't want to be the one who cleaned up after that swan the next day. I like swans, they have no respect for humans! The little owl is just like the one I still see on the side of the road.
Jude, have lots of hot drinks and take it easy.
Hello Snyggies
Oh I love the swan .Reminds me of the Aylesbury duck I had as a pet moons ago .he used to sit on your lap and he loved maderia cake .He was a good guard duck too .

Neti I can't help you with oven timimgs for your pastry .I bung a pie in on 180 C and then turn it down to 160 C.Can you not do suet pastry ? Can you get Atora in Spain ?

Yes it's awful in Oz .I hope Dolly will be alright .Last thing you need when you are getting on in years is a disaster like that .
You take care too Jude .Honey and hot lemon is good .I slosh whisky in :)

Grey day here and I must traipse .Bye for now .
I worked out how to make suetless suet pastry when in the US. You take whatever block fat you are going to use and freeze it then grate it coarsly making sure to keep it very cold. toss it in a very little flour et viola....suetless suet. Keep it cold and it will last a day or two or freeze it. Use as for atora.

Well that's just typical, tut, the first good hair day I've had for weeks & after a traipse round the shops it looks like I've been pulled through a 'edge back'ards...this damp drizzly weather does nowt for your bouffant. Anyway I'm consoling myself with a nice bowl of fresh fruit salad http://www.istockphot...m-doughnut-finger.jpg
and there's more in the fridge for ron
:o)
well there's fruit there, calcium, its vegetarian....got to be healthy
brrr, second pair of socks on, microwave and slippers at the ready. Why does cold start at my feet and work its way north? I bet swans don't have this trouble paddling past icebergs.
Today has been a total waste of time. I have wiped it off the calendar. I think I will go to bed now in case anything else happens to annoy me!!

Nothing has gone to plan and none of it has been my fault!!
Question Author
It'll be my fault then Lottie, everything is...

Cold jno? As in starting with one or the temp? At 11C it's positively tropical here. My legs can't stand the heat, they feel as though they've been through the mangle.
I've just bought a new purse .A snyggy one to go with my snyggy bag .
I think Midsomer is on tonight and it's John Nettles last one ,sob sob sob .
Oh Robi, you sound like I feel!!

I have been out on a false errand and wasted a morning, my bank card got rejected in Morrisons and the Bank Fraud squad left me a message on the phone. It is cold damp and raining and I am achey again. I could barely walk from the carpark in Morrisons into the shop because my feet felt as if they had both been broken up into pieces. I am now making the stock for the chicken soup and have let it boil over.
No it's my fault Lottie and Robi, I'm havin a crip day as well. I feel really sad today but will get over it I expect. It happens now and again. Probably my cold making me feel like this. It isn't really but that's my excuse.
I think I'll do what you've done Lottie and wipe if off the calender

Your result Shaney in the scores on the doors was brill. 12 is about me on a good
day.

I'm off now to make my usual.
Layer 'gater(s)
Jno, I've gor 3 layers on the top 'Liberty boddice' and 2 thick jumpers and popsocks and ordinary socks and wooly slippers and I'm still cold.
Sorry for being a right Mizzog
