All the Royalty back then were related either by blood or marriage or both. Specifically the royalty of England, Spain, France and Russia. So for a English royal to have Russian ancestry wouldnt be completely unheard of.
Now, keeping in mind Arthurian legend are in fact LEGEND, pretend stories, fiction based on old tales and fables, its not an impossibility that the fables Arthurian legend are based on originally come from an even more ancient
region or country. Like, say, Russia.
