If PA was sure he did 'nothing wrong' - why did he not go to court and face his accuser, instead of paying her off to avoid it.

I for one have never for one moment underestimated PA's personal courage during his time in the Falklands War.

But thousands of service personel were as brave, and braver.

But that does not entitle them, or him, to have a lifetime of credit in the behaviour bank that allows them, or him, to behave like a boorish arrogant ignorant fool for ever, and the world will simply shrug, because he was brave once doing a job that hundreds of other people did better, for longer, but don't have the kudos of royalty to draw attention to what they did.
