I can't handle that one. I'm still trying to work out why, simply because I happen to have been born in this country, I'm expected to sing a national anthem that calls upon a 'God' (that I don't believe in) to 'save' a 'Queen' (whom I refuse to recognise)!

Many moon ago my old Mum's neighbour (in Holland) billeted a young Brazilian youth who was there for an under 16 football tour. When she was mowing her front lawn the size of a postage stamp, the young lad popped over and insisted on doing it for her. He also volunteered on doing her shopping. With Mum's broken english and his broken english it must have been some fun communicating. Apparently this is what young people do in Brazil for elderly in their neighbourhood.

Yes, his name was Jesus. In a way, Jesus saved my brother from doing the chores. I know, this is not what you mean. lol

well he saved me from being stung by that wasp that got into my car the other day.
he crashed the car for me so the wasp could fly away through the gap where the windscreen used to be.
3 months in hospital, but i was not stung by that wasp! - if that doesn't prove his love, i don't know what will.
