I would ask please, if the following questions were answered, the best that you can, in the order that they are posted. Thanks.

1) God, has always been there, before anything else, God was there, so how long was he there in solitary before he decided to create the Universe and us?

2) Why did God create us, Humans?

Khandro – No I didn’t leave. I just stopped wasting my time as I learnt that most of the people here are just for the sake of it. They are neither willing to accept what others say nor are willing to give a valid point about their own belief, or no belief in certain cases. Same arguments and same words again and again and I am happy to see that word “Islam” is still as active here as ever. Put it like this that even if I don’t pop in for couple of years then still I believe that I haven’t missed anything. And with due respect, I have better things to do with my time.

Tamborine – Had I been to Hajj then I would have still been there as Hajj (main day) is this week.

That's the English Standard Version, Khandro.

I remember your having quoted this before. That was the second time I'd seen the ESV version (verse 2, by the way), because I'd read the article I assume you'd got it from.

When I first read that version I checked my preferred King James version. The AV reads: "A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself". To be honest I would have struggled to understood it in the 17th century version.

Well, Khandro, I have to admit that if you put a religious book in our house it would be lonely. The same goes for science fiction which I never have taken to. In fact I hadn’t read much about religion since it was force fed me as a Catholic boy until the issues with Islam in the recent years. I have you and Naomi amongst others to thank for educating me in the last couple of years, and I have enjoyed reading the threads, though they do get a bit repetitive, and I do still think religion is nonsense. However, that wasn’t the meaning behind my post as I imagine you well know. I was asking if you thought you were a person who is understanding of other people’s opinions (not just religious opinions) and a person who is flexible. I only asked because you seem to be accusing others of lacking those qualities, when I haven't seen evidence of you yourself having them. In fact I have often thought it sad that you are clearly bright but have to resort to rudeness if someone disagrees with you.

Islam is talked about because it regularly makes the headlines, but I see nothing there to commend it so I’m at a loss to understand why that pleases you. Islam has nothing to be proud of.
