With Brexit out of the way (?!) can we now turn to more momentous issues? I refer to those posed by St Augustine in reference to Creation; Who made it? By what means? & Why?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Theland, whenever I have given you examples of "information" literally... you have then gone on to claim it isn't enough, because you want the origin. Even though it obviously is original information, not formed by a mind.
Can you please show which information is "created" in a mind? Rather than just interpreted by it... maybe that would help x

Theland, You said I couldn’t tell you where prophecy deviates from history - not that you’d ever asked me to explain that before - but now I have. Clearly I’ve inconveniently picked on prophecies that you are unaware of.
//Try and confine yourself to what I have asked// you said. I have. I’ve told you, albeit briefly, where prophecy deviates from history.
As for the reason for the existence of the State of Israel, that has been explained to you ad infinitum - and not only by me - so stop with the personal attacks. That is the last resort of a floundering argument.

Mozz - // Agreed, but if a mod is amongst the ones making causing a disruption, how can they be able to moderate without prejudice? //
And Theland -
For the umpteenth time -
Being a Moderator does not prevent anyone from being an AB'er, which they are, first and foremost.
Any Moderator is able to post as they wish, subject to the Site Rules the same as everyone else.
The perverse notion that Moderators are some sort of Guardian Angels is invalid - and as Pixie says, holding and expressing an opinion and being able to monitor the site are mutually exclusive.
If either of you have a problem with this response, or the reasoning in it, feel free to contact the Editorial Team and discucss it with them.

Theland - As I have pointed out, you are the only person on here who actually ponders these Questions with such depth and angst.
You regularly post, looking for 'answers' but you never like the answers you get, and when people argue against the points you make, you become tetchy and accuse people of being insulting / difficult, etc.
As I see it, you have two choices moving forward -
You can either accept that people dso not see the world as you do, and they are entitled to their view, and that includes mine, of actually not knowing, or caring - and you must accept that as the right of the individual.
or
You can continue to post your deep Questions, and try to educate people into accepting your viewpoint.
But you can't have it both ways!
Either you are going to debate with the majority who simply don't agree with your view, or you are going to accept that being argued with upsets you and makes you angry, and you will be better of spending your time increasing your education, ad not bothering flogging dead horses.
Your choice - but accepting either will prevent the Groundhog Day posts you create, and then remain profoundly disappointed and vexed by.

Naomi - // /feel free to contact the Editorial Team and discucss it with them. //
Except that the editorial team doesn't discuss that sort of thing so that's pointless advice. Just thought I'd mention it for the sake of clarity. //
The Editorial Team will not discuss that sort of thing on line, but Theland, and indeed anyone else, has the facility to contact them off-line, and conduct an individual dialogue - which is not pointless advice.

No, I don't know that - why would I?
The Editorial Team have advised repeatedly that they reply to e-mails they receive.
Since I am not (contrary to the belief of some!!) in contact with them, except through the same method, I am happy to take them at their word.

Nope, all the time you're not abusing your position, and I have no reason to believe that you are, I have no issue. As I said before, my response was based on surprise, and my previous experience with being a mod on different sites.

Thank you for your observation - I am unsure why my being a Moderator provides a reaction of 'surprise', but it's preferable to some of the responses I have read!
