Well, if the bible bashers and theists have got it wrong, they'll never know. If atheists have got it wrong they'll find out in the end. A bit like Pascale's wager?
My mum and dad created me......they didn't promise eternal life ....
What's the odds on Locusts winning over Goodlife?
The Earth will be destroyed by overpopulation either directly or indirectly.
could be, we are already overpopulated, and that is only going to get worse.
Locusts, why is it so difficult for you to understand that people who don’t live their lives in sycophancy and dwelling on death, as you do, are willing to accept that, like everything else in the natural world, they will eventually die?

Your doom-mongering is tedious.
Crap... I think it might depend on how you define 'The Earth'. Whatever your definition, I doubt if we'll be able to destroy the planet, or the human race, or all traces of life in the next few thousand years. If by 'Earth' you mean human civilisation and culture, then it's quite possible I should think.
Yes, the doom-mongering is tedious and the seemingly endless repetition of the same theme is boring in extremis.
Will the earth be destroyed? Good question and one that has been talked about for decades. Politicians have used it and films have been made about it.
But as I read my Bible on a regular basis, I have found many scriptures that seem to support the end,(2 Peter 3 v 7) but when I read others I find these give hope that the earth will not be destroyed (Ps 37 v 11).

//// it so difficult for you, that there are religious people out there who looking for hope of life on a perfect paradise {on earth and in heaven} -- .that I am throwing a lifeline to save life not to destroy, when there is hop of life for ever lasting life. Proverds 2.21 – the problem is you and your atheist friends do not believe in a supreme being or a creator of the Universe and therefore you cannot understand why,- why people who believe in a creator and he will eventually put things too right as he has promised from his diary{bible} which he has given us --understanding the reason and why things took place a 4 time and bring it up to date the Book of Revelation ,,for people who are religiously minded death is not permanently for there is the promise that God and Jesus Christ has given us- that there is a Resurrection{John 5.28 Act 24.15} of life {everlasting}?
Locusts, //the problem is you and your atheist friends do not believe in a supreme being or a creator of the Universe //

I can't speak for my atheist friends - none of us belong to any sort of club that requires us all to think the same - but my absence of belief in the imaginary entity you describe presents no problem whatsoever to me.

//…you cannot understand why,- why people who believe in a creator and he will eventually put things too right …//

You’re mistaken. I can understand why. You’re all afraid to face the inevitable… death…. and so you cling to the notion that with the help of sycophantic allegiance you will be able to avoid it.
As I've said before on a similar thread, the world ends every day for thousands of people, just wait patiently and your time will come along.
yes at some point of course it will....but in your or my lifetime? doubt it

/////you seem to have this miss understanding that we fear death but that is on the contrary death do not hurt us because we have the hope of the resurrection of life. Because,, our Creator had told are grandparents,,in the Garden of Eden, death would be there outcome of disobedience and that they had turned their back on their Creator so death,,is is the ultimate of Sin. but the promise of The Creator is for the future and all those who are in the Memorial Tombs will come out. because of Jesus has promised of the paradise Earth, so there is life after death if we obey and follow the regulations today. that Jesus set down for us in his Sermon on the Mount and he he was always preaching about God's kingdom, and that Kingdom will come when he arrives{Jesus} in the future time we don't know the day or the hour but it is soon from Matthew 24.1.22//Mark13.8/Luke.21.10.11 showing at Wars and pestilence would be here upon the Earth.
Locusts, there you go. Your faith is all about your hope to escape death. That's it. Without that your god would be redundant.

naomi24 22:58 Wed 23rd Dec 2020 Without that your god would be redundant.
//yes without faith in god - would be redundant- when you read ,constantly the Bible and you'll get the sense of it -and it becomes real to you, God has given us - To show us a way to get- everlasting life- this prospect gives you the hope and the faith to continue in following in him, Son's footsteps- obedient to the creator who created us in his image_ if you make God redundant , because of our imperfections and there is no hope, only death in view, what a horrible thought, but we recognised through faith that God will never be redundant because his word of truth is come down to us through the ages in his diary{BIBLE}.
And a Merry Christmas to you !!
Locusts, //only death in view, what a horrible thought//

Every one of your posts confirms my conclusion.

As Doris Day sang, Que sera sera.

Locusts, what's the point of your continual drivelling on about the end of the world? Is it a religious thing? Follow my clan, repent and you will live in eternal grace?
The Earth will not be destroyed but humanity will, unfortunately we are destroying many innocent species in the process.
