You see Mibs? This is like a convent or a monastary for those that need a bit of a retreat, but you said that didn't you? (I wish I had, it sounded so wise!)
Anyway, I trained as an engineer and had a job requiring a lot of analytical thinking, and now? They won't even take me on to push supermarket trolleys around the car park!
It takes a bit of getting used to I can tell you.
Anyway, on the bright side, I bought myself a bike today, and although I have only ridden it home from the shop, I have great plans to explore the mysterious banks of the river Mersey, accompanied on occasions by my six year old grandson. We shall make a splendid team, and will hunt for monsters in Eastham woods, and stop for refreshments at the Eastham Ferry Hotel, or the little pub next door, and discuss our exploits. There's even an ice cream van up there at the weekends.
I had a phone call from the delightful, "Bez", whose heart is solid gold. What a nice person.
