Last year a number of players declined to play the women's team because of issues with the manager Jorge Vilda. Seems there's a continuing problem with the Spanish FA and their female players.

Spain's female footballers had just won the World Cup - euphoria all around - watching the video, there were lots of hugs, cuddles, kisses and Jenni Hermosa laughing and smiling (after "the kiss") and presumbly vino had been consumed by the guests before the match.
Where did it all go wrong? Political, media - a mountain out of a molehill. Just my opinion.

When I saw it, I thought he'd probably getting away with it if he apologised. But then the clip of him grabbing his crotch, near the Spanish queen and her teenage daughter, a few minutes before the kiss, put a different light on it - the guy obviously has a problem, associating sex with celebration:

And then the bizarre press conference, saying that the kiss was consensual ... anybody involved in that needs to go. They are clueless.

What a shame that the men of the Spanish FA has tarnished the achievement of the Spanish women that won the world cup.
