when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Isn't The Full Monty a brilliant film?

oh so that's where the cold weather has gone, I might have known they'd nick it oop north
Guess who has had so much fuffuwaffin palaver in the loft business I totally forgot my flu jab and appointment with Dr. this morning.
Re-booked flu jab Friday at 8.05am then catching train that morning to 'goodness knows where' for 9 days. I will sleep for the whole week I think. Today I'm going to the cinema to see Philomena arranged a while ago. Hope I don't fall asleep in there.
Take care all of you. I will be in touch eventually!!! xxxx
Tis a tad chilly here, all wrapped up in my poncho and ugg boots (not real ugg, just pretend but lovely and warm). Have actually got rid of a loads of weeds round the side of the house, but still looks a mess, mopped up dirty rainwater from pool, had coffee, actually had to get sewing machine out to mend a pillowcase seam (cheap ASDA!) and the machine worked absolutely fine for the first time in yonks!

Just had a lovely chicken sandwich, it's a german friend's recipe, sliced bread (white) butter, mayo, thyme, chicken and lemon juice, delicious!!!!
I want to see Philomena but hasn't been here yet, we are starting to get the films in English before England, but they start at 9pm on one night a week, and it's too cold to go there.
IS THERE ANYBODY HERE ?

Has jno gone to a) eye op? or b) the gulf?

Am all clean and fed and in a lovely clena bed. Mr N's friend John Hurt in on BBC1, so listening to him.

gulf over the weekend, eye op on the 5th, but I am supervising bedroom painting at the moment. (Well, not right this instant, I let him go home for a nap.) As all the furniture is now piled up round the house we rushed off and ordered a carpet from John Lewis, hopefully to be fitted shortly after we get back. It has a 10 year guarantee so it should see me out if the moths don't devour it (or me).
Oh new carpets, I love them, but hugely expensive over here, so one makes do and mends,(and cleans!) We have the luxury of fitted carpets in the bedrooms which not many people have over here.
hello you bunch of busy busies. You make me feel even tirederer than I do. We went and shopped for christmas food today and I took the dogs out and that's about it...zzzzzzzz
Morning all ..lol
Hope you've all had a good day .I've had no computer time whatsoever today.
Picky stayed here last night and they were still fiddling with figures all day. These on line tax returns are a nightmare especially for the self employed Good job Mr S knows what he's doing ....apart from which he does love a spreadsheet :)
I left them to it and went to see a nice lady at the hospital who jammed my bazooms into her machine ..ouch ...came back cooked a dinner and then off he went home .I fell asleep in front of the teveee and now I'm wide awake !
Woofy I don't cheer for any side .Football bores me rigid ,but they were pleased that the Germans won .
Ooh nooo ...not a wonky washer Robinia ...nervous breakdown time .I pray to the God of washing machines every time I switch mine on as it's getting on in years now .
Good morning everyone.

Ouch shaney, I hate those things but will have to have one in June.

Hope Robi is OK. Jude where are you off to onFriday? Is it a mystery hol??

Sun is shining and am off to finish xmas pressie shopping to get into post to çEngland. I've cut right down now, only 2 sisters and one bro, cos the others are all elsewhere in the world and costs a fortune to post to them.
Wow it is so windy, everything is blowing everywhere. Good for washing though. Still sitting outside a cafe having cafe con leche, have to hang on to the glass!!
morning all...very bright 'n sunny but the wind cuts right through, real feel 1C. It looks set to be the same for a while so I suppose I'd better get used to it....or hibernate. That's what I did yesterday, just lolled about doing not a lot. It was great for easing my aches and pains but very wooly head making, I think my brain's gone into sleep mode again so I need to shake myself before I end up in a gulf.... of despair.

Hope your bazoom results are A-ok shaney...or maybe B-ok or C-ok, as the cup fits :) I'll send Mr S my 'papers drawer' to sort out ... all those statements, letters etc that I used to file so efficiently and are now just shoved in and slammed out of sight, out of mind. It won't keep him from the footy I suppose but you have him there to tut at...I almost dog napped a little j-r terrier who was waiting outside Iceland the other day. He's often there, a little sweetie, and loves a chat and a pat. :)

Well I'd better clear yesterday's lazy trail of destruction and do a bit of ironing...I hardly dare plug the bloomin thing in. Haven't tried the washer again yet, I'm hoping it was just having a moody day.
Morning all
Lovely and bright but only hovering around 1C here too .Bit blowy too.
Hope you're all Ok .
I've just seen on the news that a taxi crashed into the window of the bakery in the High St yesterday.Nobody seriously hurt thank goodness.
It all happens here you know !
Haha...my bazooms are going south at a rate of knots .I'll probably have to kneel on the floor at the next squashing session .
I hope your washer works Robinia ..I'd be pacing the floor , biting my nails by now :)

Oh dear, hope you're not sans gateaux shaney. I was thinking of ram raiding the local cake shop with my shopping trolley, they've got marzipan fruits in the window, yummy. They're pretty but expensive, I might by a bar of marzi and make some white grapes, haha.

Well the ironing went ok but I did snap one of my best hangers trying to put too many things on it to save space. Next time I'm shoplifting a coat I'll have to remember to leave the hanger in.

Quiet again but I suppose...

Haha....many a true word ...
I did pootle to the shops for a few bits and it was open for business but boarded over at the front .It could have been nasty if someone had been sitting in the little cafe area by the window .
It was so cold out there and the sunshine soon went down the pan and it started sleeting as I trudged back .
I'm really pleased with my cheap BHS coat .It's lovely and light and warm.
Mr S keeps looking in the fridge with a hopeful expression on his face ..I'd better go and rattle some pans :)
I have be ending rushing about. Hija wanted some of her money sent over, but Mr N has it locked away so in the midst of stripping the chicken car as I rushed to get the money out of the bank, no probs, went to P O and the wouldn't accept my driving licence or photo

copy of residencia (bank was fine with it and giving me money) I created and I sobbed but to no avail, so had to race home collect passport and hotfoot back to down. Then I could pay it in. I was furious. Back home I made chicken pie after making pastry and running out of flour, and boiled the carcass and then made soup, then whizzed it then strained it (he hates any crunchy bone) forgot clothes were merrily tumbling in drier, removed them
Ran out of phone space, pie looks good, sweptand tidied kitchen, wrapped Xmas presents, printed Addy labels and put into envelopes ready for posting manana. Am shattered. Mr N came home early and ate the soup.
Heavens to betsy Wizzibiza...go and have a sit down before you fall down :)
Just frying real chips to go with the the pie, then bath and bed!
My goodness, my typing on the n ew phone is atrocious! DSorry everyone.

All bathed and in bed. Watching the Monty Python lot, I didn't really like them first time round (but never dared to admit it) but I love Life of Brian. Not sure if it'll work this time round.
