I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

lovely day today, high 20s and no clouds. I almost went down to Playa del Thames for a swim.
I have got a new kindle :)
I'm getting a partial new roof and then a new lounge ceiling! I can hardly contain my excitement
woo eee!
Hello everyone. Is everyonen ok?
Strange times here. Half.ofnthe island should be going I to lockdown on Friday and the military is already here, rumours are that
they will control the lockdown
I think they are merely on manoeuvres.
We are still under tarpaulin but cement drying etc. Thursday the whole lounge ceiling is being knocked down. A few days diet and dust and debris! Oh I am looking forward to it!!

hopefully you can get outdoors in the sun while it happens, neti?

Another sunny day, 30 degrees, so I took a stroll round the City. Maybe I should become a Covid Marshal to pass the time; I hope they're heavily armed when they have to arrest viruses.

I don't know why I never noticed it during the trial, but apparently one of the places we lived in long ago was only three doors away from where Dennis Nilsen had been a few years earlier. I can't believe the estate agent never mentioned it either. Brrr.
Gosh jno, and didnt your drains get blocked? I am enjoying Des and Tennent plays a good part.
Yes as predicted the centres of Ibiza town and San An go into lockdown from Friday 10pm!
Gosh I swear its hotter than ever! Had a job staggering home uphill but made it and straight into cool pool.
Hello all
We've been having some lovely weather the last few days .30C yesterday, not as hot today but still quite warm although cloudy.
I've been to the opticians and got three pairs of new specs. Not quite as expensive this time having ditched varifocals but my purse still shrieked a bit when I opened it.
Very well organised in there re Covid and as I'd already picked my frames and tried them on virtually I didn't have to handle anything or have anyone breathing down my neck when selecting frames . I just showed them what I wanted on my phone.
Then I went across to the library which has reopened at last and took the books back I borrowed way back in March.Good job they waived the fines!.All well organised in there too.
Yes Neti, reroofing is a lot of mess and muddle. I hope it doesn't take too long for you. We spent several weeks surrounded by scaffolding and the windows were absolutely filthy by the time it was all done and I hope yours isn't costing you 11,000 quid either!
Ooh that's creepy Jno.I remember it being on the news not long after we moved to London. David Tennant is very good in this as are the others,Daniel Mays,Jason Watkins and good old Ron Cook who's a brilliant character actor.
No news otherwise. Hope you're all well and that your OH is keeping well too Jno.
Too warm here. Yesterday I spent under the influence of antihistamine tablets aka spaced out. The night before I got so badly bitten by mozzies in the back of my knee that i couldn't bend my knee and had to get up and get an icepack in the middle of the night. I HATE this hot mozzified weather.

we're just mothified here, woofgang. We've had them round here for the last couple of years (not just us, the whole neighbourhood) and I've stopped buying woollens. I've got to pick up some moth spray I've ordered from Robert Dyas tomorrow.
Morning. Was up at 7am cooking a full English for hija as she is now on plane back to Barca.. Mr N has now removed and covered all lounge furniture and I am banished to bedroom . No idea if I can ever get outside again! Weather is overcast and I have washed hija's bedding so hope it will dry.
We have a lot of tiny biting flies which have returned now that the weeds have grown back. Just got 3 bites at side of knee. Seen 2 huge black cockroaches this last week. But do not appear to have come from broken ceiling! I am terrified of them!
The main roof with pantiles is now repaired.
Hmmm not too impressed. Hes been banging and crunching for ages and only a sq metre of ceiling has been knocked down. This could take a while!!

One third of ceiling is down. I am reclining beneath!

as long as you've still got a roof over your head
enjoy your ceiling adventure Neti! Jno, my sis in Kent got mothified a few years ago. she had to remove and destroy all the wool and wool mix stuff in her house including all the carpets. She replaced with wood floors and polyprop rugs. She was told by the folk who treated the house (and warned by her insurance company) to NEVER have carpet again and to be really careful about wool and wool mix clothing....nightmare! Its all very well to say oh synthetic fibres are bad, natural is good but its not as straightforward as that!
Stay well everyone
Gosh woofy that sounds horrific! And expensive. We get food moths in the summer as they come in in packets of dry food. Flour, beans etc! We have to check all packets carefully before buying to find tiny pinholes but still get the moth. We buy special sticky things to catch them!
Went for another blood test today. A young cocky lad skipped the 15 people queue and then fainted when he saw the needle. When he came out sheepishly I smirked at him as I felt he deserved it!! I have no mark or anything this time. Last time a bruise kept spreading for 2 weeks before it faded! We went for brekkie and the weekly shop before MrN started again on the ceiling. There is lots of bamboo which the old builders used and its my job to collect it all and put into sacks ( for firewood) but its ruining my expensive nails!! And reclining in bedroom again until it's safe to come out oh and its raining!!
we need rain here, its very dry. Sis' home insurance coughed up for the moth attack but she was told they would only do it once as its known that they can return, hence the wood floors and polyprop rugs. They paid for her to stay out of the house while it was fumigated too.
