Removing Office

Just bought other half a s/h Dell laptop running XP.Is it safe to remove MS Office software. Or not advisable ?

There's no problems with removing it (and unless you got the office software pack with it you probably aren't licensed to have it you should really)

However if you want any of the office programs (word, excel etc) then you'll lose them if you remove it (obviously)

I would keep it, for the reasons chuck says - Word and Excel are worth hanging onto. IMO.
