Problems with Broadband

IE9 on Microsoft Windows and an Asus PC

My broadband works fine on most systems in restaurants, libraries etc etc - except for my two local hostelries....one I haven't used recently so I may be unfair to them, the other I have been to this morning.

Sunday am breakfast (eggs benedict and great coffee) plus the tennis today.... I am finding it very sporadic to connect - basically evey other visit, it is fine and up comes the white connection signal bars. Today though, I can not connect - at all - can see the signal and a couple of secure others but cannot get the hook-up.....It's an inn and the signal is on all the time for use of guests.

Anybody got any tips to the cause/solution to this?

Many thanks in advance
