Backing Up Issue.

Am running a back up to an F external drive....usual weekly thing.

Has failed a number of times, the message that I am getting being "the process cannot access the file, as it is being used by another process."

Have shut down the pc and restarted, running the back up with nothing else running overtly. So the question is what is going on and how to cure this?

Windows.....and Chrome is my main search for the record.

you could try Unlocker http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/#download (no guarantees that it'll make a difference but it does work quite often for me)
