Is anyone finding 'high-risk' files in Kaspersky Lab program? I've just done a scan with Emisoft and it found a high-risk file in Kaspersky Lab and I can't seem to delete it! I thought this program (Kas...) was supposed to be good?
Any one any suggestions?
Many thanks.

Sometime some AV programs might highlight another AV program as a "threat" when it is not.

I think you mean Emsisoft not Emisoft.
If you downloaded Kaspersky from the internet, it may have come from a dodgy site?

I also agree with VHG, virus scanners see other virus scanners as a threat, I think because the programmes have the ability to change and delete files etc. they are seen as high risk!

Thanks both!
Yes it is Emsisoft, sorry and the program(Kaspersky) was bought through ComputerActive magazine, who are offering it at £20. Incidentally, what is the correct spelling: program OR programme?
Cheers both.
either. Americans spell it program, and it's acceptable for Brits to do so as well.
Emsisoft and Kaspersky both perform simmilar AV Scans and are known to conflict with each other.

Each must Scan independently of one another and if you are unable to switch one off you could create untold problems. As an example, you could end up sending literally hundreds of the same E/mail to a single recipient.

Personally, I think you should get rid of one of them, because each is seeing the other as a virus

Hans.
