Help To Print Please

OH and I are TRYING to set up my new Samsung tablet to the printer. Neither of us are ANY use when technology is concerned. The puzzle is this: as a test, we thought we'd print an email. There is nothing that says PRINT, so i Googled "how to print an email from Samsung tablet" and it says, select an email, go to "More Options" etc etc but there isn't a MORE OPTIONS option!

Please help.

Do you have three verticle dots in the top right corner? If you do, click on them and the print option should be in the drop down.

Yes 3 dots, but all it says is "schedule sending, priority, security options".

As far as we can see, the tablet and the printer are linked now. OH now looking again in settings. He set my Mums up with no hassle at all, but this one's a nightmare.

On further googling of the matter. I've found a very convoluted instruction that has...... Apps....settings....touch more settings...... (Wifi icon).....printing...... Then goes on to download a plug in.

OH says he didn't do all this with my Mums.

It's possible that you have to install an App from the printer manufacturer called "web printing", or something.

What is the printer make/model?

Once the app is installed, things might become a little more clear.

The printer is an HP Kidas. Quite a few years old now.

Incidentally, what model is the printer? Is it connected to the network by Wifi or ethernet, or something else?
