Has anyone noticed that if you try system restore just as a practice run it always works but when things go wrong and you really really need it to work it always reports "Unable to restore"

I went to do a systems restore on Friday. I tried all my restore points for May and got the same message "Unable To Restore" every time. Can anyone help tellboy and I?

never happened to me. The only time Restore failed to work is when I had a virus which was attacking all my restore points, and I had to reinstall XP.



Try running a virus scanner.
