You will all have to forgive me. I find it easier to join in mundane things with no personal content in the rest of the site than to be on here. I really want to tell you all how I feel at the moment and what is going on but I am finding it difficult. I think this years events have now driven me to the edge!
Love you all though. xx

Sorry I missed you last night shaney, I've got John Sargeant's autobiography somewhere, picked it up in the charity shop, I really should read these books I buy. Haha, yes I remember Cyril, especially on Gardening Time
Peers through the gloom...gawd what a day again, if I'd known you were off work & on toast duty Vinny you could have rolled me up something a bit calming, I had to go to the dentist...beside myself I woz....and all he did was the check-up & I'd been visualising all manner of horrors. Anyhoo, they're gonna fill the one which has lost some filling when they do a clean in 2 weeks ....and that's it. But if I have any trouble with the tooth it'll be root canal (no ta) or whip it out. I can live without it...I've got another one left :o)

Just been arranging intenet coverage for my daughter in her new apartment.
My lovley mum-in-law was a Dorothy! Actually it's quite a pretty name
What has happened to our Dotty btw!
Poor lottie we are here whenever you need us, I luckily don't suffer from the blues too often, and having caught a frigtening glimpse of myself in the hall mirror this am, it's aswell, I thought it was Roy Cropper looking back at me - horrible experience cos it was ME!!!!

Afternoon possums. Would you believe my travelling bag is still lying like an open book on the floor, I never get down to washing the last bit of clothing - or rather, I do, but as The Scrooge won't turn the heating on, it never dries. Neti it pleases me (did I sound like a queen just now?) that you're still enjoying the wrist warmers. My present fad is tying bracelets - LOTTIE try it it's very good for not thinking if you see what I mean. Here's a photo I took of my wrist through a layer of organza that I was selling, I took the piccy to demonstrate how sheer the textile is but in this case it gives you an idea of what I mean by bracelet tying http://i33.tinypic.com/11vr56p.png I'll elaborate if anyone's interested :)
Hare is probably not the right Cyril for my Q Vinny, as his crime novels weren't published till the forties according to Shaney and the internet, but thanks, this is very educative. I hope all went well at the physiotherapist's (have you got one of those explanatory slings http://i38.tinypic.com/2qwn9j6.jpg) and Robi I'll be thinking of you and Charlie tomorrow morning. (Who am I fooling, I won't be awake will I - but I'll be thinking of you and Charlie before I go to bed).

Question for you Neti, nobody's answered it so far http://www.theanswerb...y/Question828159.html
Love those bracelets swedie, are they leather or plastic, cos if plastic, I'd love to chew on one!!!
Can't help with that q though I'm sorry, only ever call my family in the UK, wouldn't trust "free" numbers from here
and yes, I really do like the wrist warmers, it is amazing how warm and comfy they are, cut off socks really aren't the same, so I do keep them by the bed so I know where I can find them!!!

Trying again in two parts:
Hi again. Right, here we go.
This year:
February Mum in Hospital and I spent most of Feb/March at the hospital as I hated the ward she was in (Medicine for the Elderly). I now believe all they say about how the elderly are treated in hospital. Totally traumatic time. I am having nightmares about it now. I would have made an official complaint but was overtaken with other problems.
March - Mum Died
Early April - Mum Funeral. All the funeral arrangements, probate paraphanalia and complications falls on my shoulders. I'm an only child.
Late April - Mr LL has major heart Attack probably caused by overwork and work stress.
April/May backwards and forward to same hospital yet again. The hospital is a 60 mile round trip. Must say he had excellent care. Same hospital as Mum - just shows the difference age makes!!

June - Next door neighbour starts playing up again and solicitor's letter arrives stating we have commandeered some of neighbours garden and will be taken to court. Long story, but we have done no such thing!!
Most of June taken up with trying to get legal protection insurance and having to communicate backwards and forwards with solicitor. (we were successful). This has still not been sorted out though.
While all this going on fighting like mad to get planning permission for land development which the neighbours (this was my mother's house so different neighbours) objected to. We have now got the permission. Land now worth somewhat less than it was when we started the whole thing!!
July - Mr LL admitted to hospital again and I start getting panic attacks.
September - Hooray a short holiday and then :
late SeptemberOctober - Developed back, hip and sciatica problems plus two viruses of some sort
Neighbour still writing harrassing letters.
November - son made redundant just before he gets mortgage to buy my half of my Mum's house, scuppering our plans for paying off our mortgage and reducing our worries.
And now husband probably not be working after this month.
Oh who cares. We all have each other. Mr LL is looking well. My aches and pains have eased a lot, we have planning permission and a job will turn up for Master LL.
I just feel totlally worn out. I don't actually feel depressed - I just feel spaced out and empty.
Thanks for listening. Robbie is right it's good to let it out and you are great people.
If I haven't been reading the threads properly or offering my support then I must apologise. I do value your friendship.

For your interest Neti I have just posted this on the phone thread:
I phone my mate in Spain regularly on an 0843 number. Its a totally different number to her old Spanish telephone number though (she still has that as well and both numbers come through on the same line). I don't have to dial the international code first. It's not free but I have never paid more than £3.00 for a very long chat (probably about an hour). She set it all up so I don't know how to go about it.

Good Lord Lottie, you have had some worries! Glad you have let off steam, can only help you.
We have also are fighting landgrab from the local council , who try to grab our manky bit of land every 15 yrs, and it costs us money to go to the courts to sort if out, Judge said in 1991 that they couldn't touch it, but they are after it again, they take absolutely no notice of anything. They'll say that the judgement is out of date, and if they take it, we'll have absolutely no access to our house! It's enough to get anyone going. We should know by dec but it's no joke! They wait til \december cos then we can't do anything legally as everything is practically closed til after Jan 8th and it'll be out of time,
There now I've faced up to it, and I try to forget it all!!!
