It's a bugger Neti .I've been like this getting on for five years now and it's just a round of blood test after blood test .
I'm convinced my levels go up and down like Tower Bridge .Don't feel embarrassed to mention scabby scalps My back drives me silly .I either have to get Mr S to scratch it ,which he doesn't like doing or I've got one of those back scratchers which I have broken the skin with ,then he has to put lotion on my back . I won't mention the personal itching it causes too !
He's a very patient man but sometimes he gives me a funny look :)
50mcg is quite a leap .Here they up you in 25mcg increments .
I think you'd like Collision. Phil Davis is in it .I like him .And Douglas Henshall is dishy .It's got a good cast .
Nothing bright about me shaney, desolate of Derby I iz, but at least I'm warm, dry & have leccy (crosses fingers) & I haven't been moved out because of floods...it must be awful especially if you're not well.
The flooding is what I dread Robinia. Especially if comes straight down in stair rods .I had enough of the last lot ,coming through the roof and flooded out in the kitchen and sunroom ( posh word for the "bung it out there " room ) . We've got a leaky roof again upstairs .As for the chimleys .I must have woken up every hour on the hour last night.
.It wailed through here like a banshee. How Mr S. sleeps through all this is a mystery to me . He could sleep on a linen line. WW3 could break out and he'd be none the wiser . I spend the night in and out of bed peering out of the window as the water swirls along the road .
Thing is it's not cold .If anything it's muggy here .Well, not exactly boiling ,but very mild .I've still got geraniums blooming in the garden .In fact they are growing better now than in the summer :) I've not inspected them today For all I know they could be in Lowestoft by now along with me washing :)

evening all...the weathers been bloody alful ere.now we got lighting so im turning me putta of in a mo.hope everybodys okay.well you did say wave somink robi..hehe..!(:O)
Oh my it really is raining in England isn't it. Raining here too but very moderately so far - the weather you lot are talking about, I often get it two days later. (Much like your jokes, really, ha ha ha!)

Nope, no recollection whatsoever of you and Chas on a carpet (sample) Robinia - and yet it sounds so hauntingly memorable ;-) Post it again!

Yuck, I tried some perfume on yesterday and it won't stop reeking, it's in my clothes. I love perfume but my sense of smell isn't good anymore (too many colds and flus) so I have to rely on my old favourites or on sites where customers post reviews. But they're always the same, no matter which perfume you look at, there's always one group saying they've worn it for twenty years and it's their signature scent, another group saying "yuck it's an old lady smell", alternatively it's a moth ball smell ;-), a third group saying "have they changed the formula" (those posters have probably had too many colds too) and the odd guy here and there always entitling his epistle OPINION OF A MAN and those posts are always saying what a sexy scent it is; I think those guys are payed.

Here's a song I'm loving at the moment, I suppose you all hear it on the radio five times a day, except perhaps for Neti, so Neti this one's for you. I think you'll like it, it's very Duffyesque isn't it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZXFQiOdyQ4
Oh, Vinny - if I'd known you were coming I'd have baked a cake...! (As the song goes!)
evening...as you know I don't normally frequent ab towers late at night but I've just found I'd left my puta on so I couldn't resist a peek and now I've got to listen to that song Kit, it's been out a while but I love it!
Can't find me on the shag pile at the moment, I'm sure I took a pic of it....

love this song too I heard this on the radio earlier but it's been around a long time

VINCENT! I'll deal with you tomorrow, tut
:o)
by eck, just popped in for a peep like, and I see people have been poorly and the rain it has come down... I won't bother explaining how dry it is in the Libyan desert, nobody'd be interested. We did have a force 10 gale one night and I was very nearly thrown out of my bunk. Someone along the corridor had their portholes smashed by the waves and got thoroughly flooded and had to be moved to a posher cabin, the poor dears. Lots of water hurtling round our cabin too, but it was in plastic bottles, and that doesn't entitle you to an upgrade. The Libyans must have loved the little bits of bad weather - a dinar there will get you five litres of petrol, but only two litres of water.

Oh, and here's a familiar tale: one of our guides used to be an English teacher but he chucked it in. He said kids these days had no respect, stayed up all night and slept in class, didn't do their homework, threw chalk at him, and teachers aren't allowed to disipline them at all... well, familiar, I just didn't expect to hear it in Libya.

My sympathies to all those starting to feel their ailments now that winter is coming in. I have my slippers by the microwave ready for action, but I'm over the pewmonia and I must confess that compared to most of you I'm actually fairly healthy at the moment. Saying that of course I suppose now one of my teeth will fall out tomorrow.
Good moaning http://www.emofaces.c...white-waving-flag.gif .
its bloomin sunny...the winds gone and its a lovely day...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-6v4H4B

grrrrr...lost my first post...my fault so here's the txt verjun...

mnng ...r u ok?
maybe not....

morning folks...hope you made it through the night dry & with all chimbleys intact. Much better here, calm, sunny, blue skies.

Ooooh, is it you jno? Hope you had a good time, have you got your land legs back? I wish I had, I always look as though I've just fallen off a boat.

I've given up with perfumes Kit, I go off them after a couple of weeks so it's usually just a quick dab of 4711 behind the lugholes.

Shaney, Mr S sounds like my friend over the road...I often say to her 'did you hear the rain/wind/bomb drop in the night?' & she just laughs...I can hear spiders tip-toe across the carpet. Btw, if you're not entertaining the vicar this afternoon there's a repeat Foyle's War around 4ish ...it'll make a nice change from the James fluffing Bond that they seem to drag out every Sunday.

Hello all, a fine clear day here as a respite between the gales methinks. We have another pile of planks in the living room as nice men are coming back to plank the dining room...its really great stuff for dealing with doggy dirty feet...at last we look like a house with dogs in, not a kennel with people in. House contents are shifting round like the goodwin sands to accommodate various nice men doing various things until dec 14th when kitchen is being done. half our kitchen area is a small study with the computer in so that week everything will be in the dining room and we will be camping in the lounge what was i thinking so near to christmas. I am a 4711 fan in the summer, also Mimosa Pour Moi by the Artisan Parfumeur (arm and a leg time though) and Inner Grace by Philosophy which is gentle and very comforting in the winter. The Inner Grace body butter is lovely on itchy winter dry skin.
Gotta go, DH is sorting out the garage and i can here him yelling...
Afternoon all - well thanks for that shaney, 5years of itching I've only had 5 months - think I'll stick my head in a bucket right now. Talking of buckets, it's lovely and sunny here, just been out for lunch, now of to watch Xfactor. Tried to download 5 episodes of Collision but went wrong somewhere!

Take care biddymates x
Now we know you have "nuzzle potential", Woofy http://fragrancebouqu...ilosophy-perfume.html I'm definitely going to have a sniff at that one the next time I'm at COW. Yes, Stockholm has a perfumery called COW. Don't ask.

I want to get rid of my ancient computer which I used as a typewriter, was never on the internet. But it's so boring - and partly painful - to go through everything, printing it out or deleting. I'm stalling. And all the gazillions of floppy disks...! They feel like runestones now don't they.

Welcome home jno, it's good to have you back:) Tell us about Barcelona! Vinny won't be allowed to listen, he already knows far too much about Barcelona. Vinny that's a nicely wrought line that is, "burn their eyes on you moving", I like that.
hello there! Cooeeee! (as my mum used to say) Spottineti here, have just done a lot of xmas shopping so can get it off in the post before I run out of money - just used my pension from England!

Have to say it is very warm here and my spectacles are steaming up as I write:

Catch you all later!
This is not an afterthought, it is a special posting!!!

Hello jno ande welcome back, yes I want to hear all about Barça as I love the place!
"This is not an afterthought, it's a special posting" - good one, Neti! (Is 'ande' Middle English...? ;-)

Hold the swine flu presses! The general recommendation over here seems to be a 3 week interval between the seasonal jab and the piggy one, so not at all in concordance with what they told you Lottie. Perhaps we have a slightly different vaccine here...? Or we are weaklings? I have no idea, I just wanted to pass this info on so that anyone contemplating having both will be aware that recommendations differ - for whatever reason.
yes, lovely time, thank you everyone... in fact, I have already chosen my next cruise; this one's full of good omen

Good time in Barcelona too, though tiring as the buses were on strike so had to climb up to Guell park with my own crampons. Wonderful city museum too - go downstairs and there's the Roman city they've uncovered.
I don't bother with any flu jabs, I think they are asking for trouble.
jno did you go the back way to Parque Güell, up the pavement escalator - it fascinated me although it was like coming in at the top and I missed quite a lot the first time. Also I loved Lesseps, the town you walk through to the metro.
