Can someone tell me in simple terms (this is a case of the blind leading the blind!) how to help netibiza get back on here please? She signs in & submits but just gets taken back to the sign-in again, she's tried a new username/email address but it's the same. (Windows XP Firefox 3). She's not a happy bunny! :o)

Here I is back in Ibiza. Have to say Easyjet surprised me, very nice flights both ways. Can't be bothered to unpack yet, am still in bed.
ooh, blue wheelie bins have arrived, to go with the grey ones and green ones. This recycling business is getting harder to work out, though. Plus we've been given a calendar of what coloured bins to put out when, until the end of 2012.
Good morning All. Beautiful day...I'm pleased your'e home safe Neti.
I'm going to school this afternoon as I wasn't able to go on Monday because I was having a lovely day with some friends. :¬)
Jno, we have a card every year from the council telling us what day and what colour bin/s to put out. It works quite well round here except when the crew comes round that decides to mix all the bins up and doesn't leave them outside the right house when they have a huge number on the side informing them where to put them!!
I've had my hair cut again after seeing certain photos and thinking what a sight!! Lol
Thankyou all for your friendship...
Hope you have a peaceful day whatever you're doing.

Hi folks, Just back from hairdressers where I have been coloured caramel and icecream. There was nothing wrong with your hair Jude!!

Had coffee and scone with friend and now no more appointments this week thank goodness (crosses fingers) - am closing the doors on the world now for the next two days.

Nets, meant to say yesterday that I am so pleased your home has been spared.

We too have a calendar every year for bin collections. Black bins for general rubbish, green for recycling and we are expected to recycle glass ourselves. Also the recycling is very limited because there are so many recyclable things they can't process.

Must do some hoovering and get rid of spider's webs. My house is beginning to look like Miss Havisham's room from Great Expectations (me in the middle of it covered in cobwebs!!)

Love to missing biddies!!

Spent all day unpacking, washing washing and yet more washing, changing the loose covers in the lounge and cushion covers,, two bedrooms, now cooking am totally fed up! And it`s still hot!
Hot here today as well Nets. About 26% which is hot here for the end of September and hotter in London I believe.
32°, and Mr N swore it had cooled down. Won't have the air con on at night so I had the ceiling fan whirling away so he "gor cold" and slept in lounge. The cat and I were out like lights!

Am so tired now.
Hi all. Neti you'll soon be back into your routine. It sounds like you've already started with the washing a scrubbing and everything you're doing already.
I've had a busy day again. Did my school session. Then when I got home I cut the grass back and front and next doors front as she did mine last time. Then I had 2 visitors one after the other and Steady rang and we were talking for about ½ an hour and it's now 7.30. Oh yes and I also went to a friend's house and put something I had for her through her letter box as she wasn't in.
Thanks Lottie about my hair but it is now really short at the back and I feel better. I think I'm going back to my full bob. My stylist said I would.
I don 't mond spiders I have had a big one on my bedroom wall for about a week it wanders about. I expect it eats the bugs it find in my bedroom :¬)
Going to look what's on the telly now - if anything -. The last time when I went to watch the Depp film I couldn't stay ith it. It was about Jack the Ripper and very bloody. He wasn't acting badly - it was just the bloodiness of it that put me off.
Tomorrow night I'm going to see and Amateur Production of Half a Sixpence with my sister and friends. So I'm quite looking forward to that.
Have a good night Everybiddy. See yer later 'gater(s)
Excus the errors hope you can work out what I was trying to say!! I really am tired again. x

looks like another lovely day... we celebrated yesterday with a drive to Suffick - Sutton Hoo then a stop at Flatford on the way back to see the Constabulary region; all really interesting and pretty. May try getting out and about again today but perhaps by train, I drove 200+ miles yesterday and I need a rest.
Morning.

Suffuk and Norfuk are both lovely counties jno. Full of yokels and 20 years behind the times which suits me just fine!!

Another lovely day and I have no solicitors appointments, no doctors appointments, no hospital appointments, no friends to meet.......................
Nuffink!!!

Megs and I are going out rambling shortly!!

Morning all. Have 2 lines of washing to put out. It's catching Neti but I know it will dry today.
Lazyish day today. A bit of shopping and trim the edges of my grass-cutting efforts yesterday. Was too tired then to do them.
Robi I have to tell you I have 100s of pansy and viola seeds coming up in my pots and if they actually flower I'll take a picture of them. Maybe they will have reverted to the 'little purple' ones but I shall be happy if they just flower. :¬)
I hope you all have a good day - and special thoughts to Mr and Mrs Woofy.

this rubbish thing: the idea now is that garden waste and food waste go in the same bin (the green one). I can see the logic as it's all organic, but where am I suppose to keep it? Inside, but have to drag grass cuttings and dead slugs in to it, or outside and have to un-triple-lock the doors and go out into the snow every time I want to dispose of an apple core?

I used to just put minor food scraps in with the ordinary household rubbish but we can't do that any more. What do biddies do, please?
I don't have a garden rubbish bin at all jno, just recycling and normal household rubbish. We compost all our garden rubbish and recycle in on our land. But obviously you can't do that in a smaller garden.

In our area, household waste including food waste has to go in one bin and those people that have garden rubbish bins cant put food waste in them.

As far as kitchen food waste is concerned. For vegetable matter I have a small plastic container with a lid that I keep under the sink and put in the compost bin (or in your case the green bin) when it gets full. I certainly wouldn't put meat or fish waste in there, so put that in my normal kitchen waste bin.
HI Jno. We have a brown bin for for organic waste and I have a small plastic box in the kitchen for food waste and then at the end of the day I wrap it up in newspaper (recycleable and we were advised to do this) and put it in the brown bin. I, luckily, have only one gate to unlock and the brown bin is only collected once a fortnight. It has been quite full lately and any leftovers go in the black bin as we can put any waste in there.
Robi I hope you are ok. Missing you on here. J
