Freeview box problem

Hi all

I am having some trouble with my freeview box. The make is Goodmans, model is GDB6.

In the Menu | Configuration | TV Out section it has always been set to RGB and worked fine.
Recently the picture has had a very washed out look and a slight green tinge. It looks as if the red channel is missing.
I have done full reinstall with no effect.
I can get full colour if I change the TV Out setting from RGB to CVBS but the picture is not so good.

Can someone advise what is going on. Is it something to do with recent software upgrades?

are you sure the scart lead is pushed fully in at both ends, sounds like the red/chroma pins aren't making good connection on one end of the lead.

I thought about that myself(eventually) and changed the cable. All is now well except I need to buy a new cable.
