Hello Biddies and Hippy. Have so enjoyed all your lovely photos. Good to have you back jno!!

Well, I was all set yesterday for a day's housework, wrapping pressies and putting up my few decorations. I even forced Mr LL up in the loft before he went to London.

Then at 9.30am the phone went and at 10.15am I was on my way to Norwich with my friend from Spain. Got home at 4.45pm exhausted. But hey, don't faint, I actually feel quite Christmassy now. This often happens to me in the week before Christmas - so it must be the long run up that is the problem.

Have to now catch up on what I didn't do yesterday!!

I will send some photos when I have put my few little decorations up!! No tree I am afraid.

xxxx
p.s. Mr LL went to Central London yesterday and decided to park outside and cycled in using the bike service. First 30 minutes are free and that was just time to get to his appointment. He walked back along the Embankment for a couple of miles. Said he thoroughly enjoyed himself!!
Woofy, you so remind me of someone I know, but I can't remember who it is. Nice photo. What are you worried about, gal???x

As for that skinny pixie.................... hmmmmph!!

A lovely jumper from BHS arrived this morning, it is huge and comes nearly down to me knees and I love it. I got a size too big and it is true to size. But who cares - it hides a multitude of sins

This is it. I am so pleased with it after all my previous failures.

By the way, snowing hard here!!
I got some jumpers like that Lottie from store 21 and they cost £14, and I got size 22 so they do not cling anywhere!
Stopped snowing & sky is blue in parts...hope that's it for us.
Tis a lovely jumper Lottie... annoyingly I had a dark red one just like that some yrs ago, then fashions changed & I never wore it much & it sat in the wardrobe for ages until I outed it. Now I could be wearing it again!

I was hoping to get out & see if there were any pre xmas bargains to be had but I daren't leave Charlie now. I was beginning to get into the mood but now I've resigned myself to the fact it's gonna be a stay put, what I haven't got I'll do without & & pray we (both) get through it without anything drastic happening.

yes, maybe I do look young in the half dark, reflected in a mirror :o)...at least I have a reflection...
goodness, forcing Mr LL up into the loft seems rather extreme... is he allowed to come down again after Christmas?
I'll think about it jno!!

Robi, I am so sorry about little Charlie. It is so sad when our pets get old and things start to go wrong. Like you, I wouldn't leave him either. Please give him a huge cuddle from me and one from Meggie.

When I got back from Norwich yesterday Meggie was really under the weather (IBS) She didn't want to do anything but curl up and sleep. Cooked her her favourite dinner of white fish and rice, but she didn't want to know. Fortunately, she has perked up this morning and eaten her fish.

I think it is a nervous thing with her. It may be that telephone enineers came round here knocking at the door and she did a lot of barking and worrying.

Take care xxxxxx
Neti, this one is a size 20!! I got a 20 thinking they might be small, but if anything they are oversized. Anyway, I like it. I know what Mr LL's reaction will be. "Isn't that rather too big for you". I don't care.

It's actually very soft and has some wool in it, so not to be for £28.00 and no delivery charge. It does look quite expensive. Like Robi, I have a Red one left over from the 80's. I washed it the other day and it looks lovely. It came from a charity shop way back then and cost me hardly anything - it was brand new!! Trouble is it has mohair in it and it's somewhat itchy.

Have also dug out my pig red poncho with the cowl neck. Loverly!!!
ATTENTION WOOFY!!

You will love this

There were boxes of other stuff, but stuck with a few candles a wreath and our tiny Christmas tree. Santa is made of cotton wool and paste and was made by a Russian Cossack some 60+ years ago. He comes out every year. (Santa, not the Cossack) The detail on his is amazing. The cossack was my sons 'nanny'. He cared for the children when they were in Bavaria.

Anyway that's the most effort I'm making. I think the room is quite Christmassy anyway all year round.
Oooh dear, have inadvertently posted a photo of Splode and his Mrs!! Several years ago now.

Can you see the snow outside our window!! It's been snowing on and off all day, quite heavily at times.

Right, now dog's blanket and other untidy objects now being slung back in.
:o( Forgot to remove the cat litter box before I took the photo.
