How lucky were you Jude? Someone was looking out for you weren't they?
Hope you get sorted shaney, it's all a big worry, makes it worse with it being such a long weekend. I can sense your frustration & it's no good me saying keep calm & carry on 'cos I know how hard that is. Don't have a turkey you can headbutt I'm afraid but I can lob some sprouts your way & you can belt 'em with a fring pan if that will help.
I'm finding it hard to keep calm myself, Charlie's not good again today, he let out a couple of sudden little yelps a while ago & I can see he's not overly happy. Rang the taxi firm to check they'll be running over the xmas break and they will. I need to have a plan of action in place.
Hope that 'someone' is looking out for all of us.

I cannot believe that within the whole of the NHS and DN service they cannot provide a catheter tap only a prescription for one for which I now have to phone various chemists to see if they have one in stock ..
Anyway no more moaning Shaney it's Christmas and I'd like to wish you all a Very Happy one and thanks for being such good pals and making me LOL and keep my sanity through what has been a difficult time .
I've got me spuds on for the typical German Christmas Eve dinner and I'm going to pour myself a drink any minute now .

Am in a bah humbug mood, those lully boots are not in my size (38) in any of the 3 shops, felt like kicking Mr N cos I'm a bad loser!!
Anyway we had a super time in Ibiza town last night, had several beers in various places (are you on a pub crawl asked the pious daughter??) Also had a lovely meal, the place has been bought and redone and the food was lovely and expensive, and the heels of my boots kept slipping on the floor!
Hope everyone is Ok and getting in joyous mood!!

Robi, have only just read through the posts, poor Charlie, please make him be alright! Are you going to be on your own for Xmas? I was (by choice) one year and I thoroughly enjoyed it but then I wasn't living alone the rest of the year. Chin up old girl, keep us informed about Charlie, christmas or not.
Have jsut made cheesey, oniniony, potato cakes eggs and bacon, and it was ummy. Yes I know, back to a very serious diet in Jan! Bought myself a small box of coffee cream chox as QS and Roses don't do them anymore and they are my favs!

And I think you're right about the 'artha' shaney, he perks up for a bit (& he's eaten some food, always good) but after he's been asleep for while we're back to the sorry face. I keep giving him a massage & that doesn't seem to hurt him, I hate to think any animal's in pain.

I'll be dipping in & out of the puta, looking at the sales & popping my head around the door here...there might even be a puch up in cb to entertain me :o) Missed the grandmonsters today tho' they usually came xmas eve afternoon, demolished a lot of nibbles, pulled all the crackers, had a fight & left me with a rubbish tip :'o(
Someone's got to be on sentry duty around here anyway, three houses, the ones either side + next door-but-one are all empty.

Well something made me laugh...remember I was sent a cotton eco shopping bag a week or 2 ago for entering a comp? Well another one's arrived & I'm wondering if they'll keep on coming, haha...at first I thought it might be an omen, ie going to do lots of shopping...but it's probably more like I'm going to become a bag lady :o)

phew, back home after a bout in Oxford St - something big going on there, half a dozen police cars lined up outside John Lewis, pavement cordoned off and what looked like four or five people handcuffed and sitting in front of the big windows all with armed cops pointing big guns at them. Can't see anything on the news about it... probably a bunch of atheists who've been trying to tell children the truth about Santa...

Evening all. Been waiting to feel like a human again before I posted but doesn't look like that's going to happen. I slept for 12 hours without waking up once and when I did wake up I was aching and hurting all over, including head. My sleep pattern for these past months has been 3-4 hours a night... sooo glad I decided not to travel, I wouldn't have been of any merriment to anyone nor anyone to me. A friend whose fellow works during the holidays suggested a while back we might meet up for Christmas Eve again same as last year, just for the afternoon, but I couldn't have pulled even that off, I really am a wreck.
