Holiday & Cruise

As a general comment to anyone thinking of going on a cruise......PLEASE do not take "Cruising with the Stars" Sky channel 284 Sunday 30th June as any sort of indication as to the quality of cruise ship entertainment. This programme bears no resemblance whatsoever! This stuff really was karaoke level- and certainly unfit for TV broadcast being of appalling quality - looked and sounded as if recorded with a cheap mobile!

The programme I referred to was mostly centred around a chap/entertainer known as Steve Whale who may or may not be talented! The quality of his video clips were absolutely dire- so bad that I couldn't really judge how good or bad he was. Steve, if you happen to read this- get a professional videographer!!

Bed knobs - in a nutshell the programme I feel gave the wrong impression of the sort of entertainment one could expect on a cruise. It barely resembled Butlins standard back in the seventies! - Cruise ship entertainment is of theatrical top quality with genuinely talented performers working in fantastic multi-platform stage sets and professional lighting second to none!
