day out in cambridge

Hi, i'm spending a couple of days in Cambridge with my children. Any ideas of what to do in or near by please.

Go punting! Its great fun and you can take a picnic to nibble on halfway up the river. Both times I�ve been we took some booze and got nicely sloshed, but I�m guessing that that�s not a great thing to do with your kids! Just head down to the water and you�ll see loads of companies hiring punts out. Have fun!

If the weather allows, definately go punting on the river Cam!  Its well worth the money and the laughs.

Depending on the day, go to the Abbey Stadium and watch the mighty U's play. (Thats Cambridge United) The club have had major financial problems and you would have a great time as well as helping us out.
