Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

some sort of subconsciously learnt reaction maybe? In theory if they change the vaccine each time, sooner or later you should get one that doesn't upset you.

I am waiting till my arm shrinks to nornal size before I go pumping vaccine into it.

Have taken camera in for repairs and been to physio, and now I am about ready to rest.

Morning biddies. Hija has flown the nest yet again. She was out till 3.30am but was up at 8am and we went to airport. She is rushing like mad to get to T2 IN Barca now for flight to Istambul, there's not much time and she phoned ahead and they're waiting till 13.30 for her to check in, as the flight goes at 13.50. I am a bundle of nerves.

Yesterday the washer refused to open and a message EO3 said filter needed cleaning so Mr N did it today. So at least I can do the mound of washing she has left behind.
I always get so nervous until I know she's got the flight. Then she has a 3hr wait till the last flight to Dubai.

deep sigh of relief hija made flight by 10 mins and is now winging her way across Corsica (I track her flight all the way) and washing machine has done 4 loads with ner a whimper, just getting used to a quiet and tidy life, but feel so sad, but that won't last long. Soon I'll enjoy it!

new car is home, a nice bright blue so it won't get lost in Tesco's car park. Appointment with webuyanycar tomorrow where they have quoted me £130 for the old one (minus admin, of course).

Just lost another post so if two turn up its not my fault. Just been chatting to hija in Istanbul,,she's gets her Dubai flight in an hour. It's a 5 hrs flight, she'll be shattered and has booked a hotel for the night when she arrives. I've just closed the curtains in her room and felt sad that she won't be home or at least around tonight. Tomorrow I'll have got over it and will, enjoy the peace and tidiness.

Good morning. I finally went to bed at 3am after Hija had landed and was in hotel room. Am taking it easy. May go to hairdresser as hair is getting too long. Its at least an inch!!

Good morning all...
Not sure where the last two days went, I've been so achey and tired, tendinitis has flared up too. Had to go down mexico way yesterday with a bad leg, sickly sinus head and neither of those things was the reason I was there just a review and bp check....all ok. I'll see you in 4 months he said. I almost asked him if he'd ever tried getting an appointment with himself :)

Keep calm and carry on neti. Did you see Emmerdale? What a shock, they kept that quiet but that's the way to do it, it seemed very real.

Bright and sunny but very fresh this morning, I've reluctantly put some summery things away and freshened up my padded coat. :(

I don't watch Emmerdale, its at the wrong time for me. I'm doing the dishes and clearing away. We are an hour later than UK.

I'll be ok once I've acclimatised to the cooler weather neti. I've managed to resist putting the heating on yet but I've had the fan heater on in the bathroom...the plucked chicken look is scary first thing in the morning.

Nice bright sunny day but it's chilly with a nippy wind off the sea . Good that your hija has landed safely Neti ,now you can rest easy.
They found two poor souls dead on the Breydon Water here yesterday.Tragic accident by the look of it as they had to haul them out of the mud flats.
Hope all ok with you all though and sorry to hear you feel unwell Robinia.Hope you soon feel better .Same old here,up and down like Tower Bridge .Hips again today ,probably knees tomorrow.I've got travellingitis..lol
Oh yes I had a little win on the crosswords .20 quid..I just need to win the Euromillions now.

Yes getting used to hija's absence now..have actually made a lamb stew for tonight, I've washed two sets of bedding, and ironed them. Washing all the towels now. Had hair trimmed, love my little China man, he's learning Spanish quite quickly as before we had to gesticulate. Cooler now 26°. Went in cold pool but once in it was lovely.

hello all. difficult day here. My back has gone ping and we are having squally weather so the dogs are unhappy....oh well tomorrow is another day.

I made a lovely lamb stew, although I had to buy 2 pots and 2 carrots this am as we didn't have any. It feels wintry 26°. Then I had a bath, an actual bath first one in months, albeit a cool one. I love baths.

It's only a real feel of 9C here tonight.I've lugged a blanket out of the cupboard to put on the bed.Really chilly and rain in 72 minutes according to Accu. I bet Jno's got her microwave slippers on:)
