>Lanzarote is not infected as yet, just Tenerife

Tenerife is no more infected than the UK as far as I can see. As I understand it Tenerife remains safe for travel, with just one hotel quarantined.
I am sitting here giggling now!
^^ Turn the gas off.
We have decided to stay within the UK for the next few months. Was supposed to go to Vietnam last week, but we cancelled.

Just booked Cornwall so far, not quite the same ☺☺☺
The person who’s today tested positive here in Newcastle , has not long returned from a trip to Vietnam
We booked late last year for southern Italy in the summer, balance due next month. We will have to pay it or we lose our deposit. I am hoping things will be better by the time we leave. Unless the Foreign Office say not to travel, then you get no refund.
We are supposed to be going to Tuscany on the 7th of April, I have been on the phone to Ryan air,no information forthcoming, they have had me holding the phone for 20 minutes so I hung up.
We are in South Africa at the moment, no problem here yet. Family and friends says delay our return. What do think?
Really....fancy calling another poster Soggibox.... :))

St Ives Cornwall ....booked Christmas week and prices almost doubled since with 63% increase in accommodation requests in the area. Thinking about it we may go....and then self isolate in the apartment, right on the quay, for a fortnight.
Zylaphone, lucky you being in SA. I’d love to be there now.
It surely can’t be long til the virus pops up there. I’d come home while you can if I were you. Although I’d love to stay there longer.
Cloverjo believe you have been in South Africa. We come for 3 months every year. Due to come home late March. Children and grandchildren is certainly a pull to get back

it has popped up, Cloverjo, but only a couple of cases so far.
Scotland is lovely. Particularly the Hebrides.
