After waiting on the phone/live chat forever, we took a run out to the airport to see if we could speak to a ‘human being’ from Ryanair , there was two workman in high Viz, an empty car park and a very eerie airport, one flight going to Alicante with about 6 people checking in, phones were just ringing out on the Swissport desk ....so still no luck
Ryanair no longer use Swissport as their handling agents anyway. If you can actually find anyone in a Ryanair uniform, they're probably employed by OmniServe these days.
I suspect that airports will get a LOT busier from next Friday onwards!
