Uganda + Tanzania

I am planning to go to Uganda in July, and then visit friend in Tanzania, then fly back to UK in August.Can anyone recommend the cheapest way to fly. It seems very expensive to buy one way tickets to /form both countries?

two one-way tickets are often more expensive than one return. Have you considered a return trip to Dar, for instance, plus local flights (or overland travel) to Uganda and back?
