Cleaning Shower Curtain...

I've recently noticed some mildew spots building up on the Nylon woven fabric.
Whats the best way of cleaning it and is it ok to put it in the washing machine for 1/2 an hour ?

spray it with some dilute bleach solution, let it soak through, then wash it in the machine

I've found that Dettol Mould and Mildew Remover does the trick also...leave on,rinse off in the shower. (Before you get in ;-) )

Actually, the best method is to chuck the old one and buy a new one... justify the very slight expense by believing it was time for a new color or pattern anyway...

Good tip is always leave the curtain closed after a shower rather than scrunched up.The water runs off better and prevents mould gathering through damp.

Bung in washing machine with some bleach - no detergent as there will be loads of soap on the curtain. Comes out like new.
