Our local church had windows broken and there was an appeal for witnesses.
I really do not see why it being a Mosque makes a difference.
There were also an appeals for witnesses when the community center and a local shop were vandalised .
Are you suggesting that damage to a Mosque is viewed as more serious than the same damage to a Christian church or a 'secular' building?
^^ If more places took that line 4361 it may help get a message across that vandalism to a church is not to be treated lightly, it upsets a lot of people.
It certainly does, Eddie. It causes a lot of distress and financial worries. We had a spate of thefts of the lead from Church rooves (roofs?) in this area a while back and one Church had nearly all of its railings stolen.
im quite sure if they recieved two calls one from a church and one from a mosque, in todays pc climate theyd be all over the mosque like flies on schitt..
