Rocky...I'd save a dinner but I wouldn't save half a can. The only tins I use are beans, tomatoes and mushy peas. The chances of me using them within a few days are pretty slim.
Left over dinners are packed up and sent out for work lunches...
I eat a lot of tinned pineapple. I decant it into a ceramic bowl and cover with clingfilm. I find it tastes tinny if left in the tin. And if left uncovered it picks up other food smells from the fridge, be spring onions!
