It's not inconvenient for me at all and as I said I have had had homeless people staying with me and will happily have asylum seekers. I am not in the UK at the moment. What have YOU done?

Those of you who have not opened up your homes to refugees need not be too concerned as you’re in good company. As I recall, at the height of Syrian refugee crisis in 2015 I remember Nicola Sturgeon and Mrs Ed Balls (aka Yvette Cooper) announcing that they would be joining Saint Bob Geldof by being more than willing to offer a refugee a place in their homes:

As far as I am aware none of the three has so far fulfilled their pledge (I’m sure we would have heard about it if they had). Maybe the premises they offer are not of a high enough standard to properly maintain our foreign friends, fleeing from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in the manner to which they think they should become accustomed.
