I’ve always had normal periods, rarely any pain. Till this last week. I was in the lounge when I felt I was wetting myself so I thought god how embarassing and ran to the loo. But it wasn’t wee - it was blood/clots, literally like I was going for a wee. I was shocked. Couldn’t move once I’d sat down but when I did well, took a while to clear up is all I’ll say. And horrendous lower pelvic pain. Finally eased off and all was ok till that evening - then the same again! Couldn’t leave the house as I was going thru all my clothing. And now same again today.
I’ve spoken to a couple of friends roughly my age and none of them have ever had this. I’ve not been thru the menopause but I know you can at anytime really from late 30’s to whenever. Is this the peri menopause or is something medically wrong? I can’t sit on a chair without covering it in several towels etc.... TIA x

By the time she got a hospital appointment the next month to they had dispersed themselves! She is OK now no horrendous bleeding. I have unfortunately experienced a miscarriage at 12 weeks and you just pass the sac....and lots of blood but not any womb lining/clots. Hope you feel better soon x
