we have been skirting around this issue for years, its time to stop saying ethnic minorities, because in many cases, places they are the majority. especially here in the capital.

Long delays in bringing to perpetrators to justice for the sake of social cohension are not unknown. In fact quite the opposite. Even that bastion of fair play, the European Court of Human Rights, has fallen by the wayside in making judgement against free speech for the sake of maintaining social cohesion with Muslims in Austria. When we pussyfoot to accommodate the foibles of one section of society we create a very tangled web for the rest - and in cases like this a dangerous one for some. Offend or please, we need to acknowledge the cause of the problem frankly. Anything less is to our shame..

I can't see that anyone has got to the basic cultural cause of all this.
The "honour" of Asian / Muslim women is jealously protected by their families, and are forbidden to single men in their culture.
Non Muslim girls are fair game, unprotected by religious or cultural considerations.
Many girls are insecure and susceptible to grooming - flattery, gifts, drink and being made to feel special.
