er you remember things and badly
1976 was longer ( drought)but not as hot - I should know, I was taking finals then
1959 - yes - increds we were picking rasps in late April
and the farmer opposite the school ( now all built up) allowed us to eat our lunches in his hay field
and put simply as I am a simple man
it cant be a one only reading of 40'C yesterday
if it occurred twice before
it seems like that famous AB animal - it is hotter and not as hot at the same time. I call it a Naomi
