The noteworthy thing about the 'curate's egg' is that, though it contains several disparate items, they are all contained within its confines. There are many more & in my opinion, better & more democratic eggs.
Islamism is fascism; nothing more & nothing less.

What a non sequitur. It seems to show that you think Islamism is the whole egg.
> The curate's egg is an excellent analogy. He knows it's bad ...
The point of the curate's egg is that it's bad in places.

I don;t see how the Curate's egg is in any way aposite here:
//"A "curate's egg" is something described as partly bad and partly good. In its original usage, it referred to something that is obviously and entirely bad, but is described out of politeness as nonetheless having good features that redeem it//
There are no redeeming features in Islam, are there? Has anyone heard of anything "good" or even slightly positive?

Naomi> The curate's egg is an excellent analogy.

Naomi> Ellipsis, I know what it is.
TTT> I don;t see how the Curate's egg is in any way apposite here ... There are no redeeming features in Islam, are there?
Naomi> They were my thoughts, TTT. You posted them before I could.
Logic error.
