Online Signature

I need to add my signature to an online document. A scribbled automatic one won't do, it has to be recognisably mine. How do I do it, please?

Thank you,  emeritus. I'll try that when I get home later. I'm not sure how to use a mouse to sign, and I often don't succede in uuploading,  but I'll check also in my Windows 11 for Dummies ( which I most certainly am).

Does it give you option of uploading an image of your signature?

I had to do that when I applied for my postal ballot for the election.
