Am I the only person who doesn't do the "If you see me lose my temper - look out" or "I'm always placid but if I do lose it I really lose it" Hmmmmmm - am I the only person in the world that bottles things up & never really unbottles?
No......I find that the people who say things like "if you see me lose my temper- look out" or "i`m always placid but if I do lose it I really lose it" to be all talk and no action, it`s the quiet ones you should be wary of
elvis: i agree w you
i guess i'm one of the people that are calm and quiet 90% of the time..
i can take a whole lotta s*** but once the lines' crossed; all hell breaks loose
doesn't happen very often; thank god, but when it does...
spikey: you gotta let that out once in awhile, hell your heads' gonna explode one day
Its a fallacy that bottling up feelings does harm. Many cultures do not have the notion of letting go of anger, as here in the west.
We all get angry but if you don't impose yours on other people this just means you are more restrained and probably more considerate of other people's feelings.
Me, I do it but I'm exceptionally self destructive. Saying that though , if Im feeling cross about something I walk around very quiet and people know because you normally cant shut me up. I reckon im a 28 year old still skilled in the art of the sulk.
