hi im making a chicken roast dinner and always use just add water gravy granules i was hoping some one would know how to make home made gravy using the juices from the chicken or spuds or am i better sticking with granules thanks for reading hope you can help
I wouldn't use the water from potatoes - too starchy ! For *real gravy*, just follow the method shown in this link. You can add water from your other vegetables, just not the starchy ones.
I agree: no nasty potato water, yuk. Use the veg water and juices from the meat and you can't go wrong. If you steam your veg, use the water from the bottom pan, but don't put the spuds in that one. Hope it goes OK.
