how to remove candle wax from clothes

I've heard of two ways -firstly, place some paper (i guess greaseproof or tissue paper) on top of the wax, and then iron it, using the tip of the iron.  Could try this with it facing downwards on the ironing board too...just make sure the paper is over the wax to soak it up when it has melted.

When I got wax on a jumper I put it in the freezer for a couple of hours, and the wax just chipped off easily.

I think it might depend on what sort of material it's on!
